Important Dates
#1 Imporant Dates
First up, before we start lets cover this subject. There are a few pre-planning items have some have dates associated with them that DO need your attention. Let me explain before we go into each planning item detail.
180 Day Mark
This is your Disney Dining Reservations Date! Remember this date, add it to your calendars at work, on your phone, set up an alert what ever you need to do to remember! Here is a date calculator to help you figure our your date.
This will be one of the most important dates to remember. Why, because this is when you can make you’re dining reservations for all table service restaurants on property. So if you are planning a character meal, date night meal, dinner show and dessert parties this is the date you need to do it on to get the best availability.
Now don’t worry if you miss it, you can do it after but for popular restaurants like Ohana and Be our Guest you chances decrease. Don’t worry, there’s Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust! I think this is what stresses people out most. If you plan accordingly things will fall into place. And if you book your vacation within the 180 day mark or less or forget the date don’t fret, you are not going to starve. There are over 140 restaurants to choose from , this will not ruin your vacation!
In fact if you miss this date you may still be able to get what you wanted as long as you stay FLEXIBLE. People are always playing around with reservations, canceling them, booking new ones so you check back regularly and you may just get exactly what you wanted. You can even score reservation same day at times so check in the morning before you head out to the parks. A Disney vacation specialist can assist.
60 Day mark
Fast pass selections for resort guests.
30 day mark
Fast pass selections non resort guests
30 days before you trip
Final payment is due. You can change or cancel your reservation without penalty up until 30 days in advance.
Ok, now that hopefully that is clear let’s get into the nitty-gritty of each Planning item of your vacation and what you need to decide. I have also indicated if Travel agent help is available in most cases just click next at the bottom the next post to read each item.
