Welcome to my blog, Once Upon my Castle. I am so excited to share info, thoughts, recipes and ideas with you. My home is my castle. Like a Sandcastle by the sea, it may get knocked down but it can always be rebuilt into something new again. Like my favorite Quote from Walt Disney says: ” If you can dream it, you can do it”
ABOUT ME: My name is Daniella, a mom of our 7 yr old Son Evan and our angel baby Nathan, Wife of my husband Phil. Phil and I have been married for 11 years now. We were lucky enough to get married in the happiest place on earth, Walt Disney World. We currenly live in Columbus, OH. Although we love it here and have some great friends and we do miss our family, friends and pizza ( more about the pizza later) on the East coast. I grew up in a little beach town called Cape May, NJ and I so do miss my ocean. We visit often but not enough. I work a full time accounting job and also have my own Etsy Shop called SandwritingbytheSea.com. I am also a Tara at Home Consultant which I love because I love to entertain and cook. So I wear a lot of hats around my castle. I love to cook( heck I come from an Italian family), travel , Disney and love gardening when I have time. The main reason I started this blog a few years ago was for my son’s Birthday parties, I love planning events.
What you will find here: Everything! I love to travel, cook, plan parties, lifestyle and parenting and since we are a huge Disney family I will be blogging about Disney as well. You will also find links to my Etsy shop Sandwritingbythesea.com and my Tara at Home Stoneware business. So you will find a little of everything from my son’s birthday parties and themes. (By the way is why I started this blog back on 2012) to travel reviews and tips to how we live our Disney life.
