Hi everyone, I am going to talk to you about 10 “Must Do” planning items for your next Walt Disney World vacation. Today I am going to get down to what you really need to know or decide upon once you have booked your vacation on or off site in order to have a Magical Vacation. What you won’t find is info like best time to visit or best resort to stay in, there are lots of  info out there already and hopefully you have already booked your vacation by the time you are reading this. 

First, Congratulations, You are going to Walt Disney World!

Trust me when I say the hardest part is over! Picking a date, a resort and deciding on a budget is the hardest part.  Now it’s time to have some fun!  

Having been a former Disney Vacation Planner I have helped send families on their own magical vacations. I am also Disney Bride and planned our  Disney Fairytale Wedding, a Disney Vacation Club Member and have experience traveling with groups, adults only, a baby and now our 7-year-old. So I have learned a few things and want to share them with you.

For most people planning is the fun part but I do know it’s not always the case. Planning is suppose to provide some excitement and anticipation leading up to your trip. I see so many people talk about  how overwhelmed they get when trying to plan. Seriously, this is supposed to be the fun part, do not stress! Just keep on swimming and stay with me here. I will lay it all out for you, I promise.

Whether you booked your trip through a trusted Disney Vacation Planner  (see my post about why you should always us a Disney Vacation Planner ) or do it all yourself you are probably asking what is next? There is the opportunity to have fun with this no matter what kind of planner you are. In the end you will have an amazing game plan set up and have a Magical Walt Disney World Vacation!

This is a great time to sit down with your family or friends you are traveling with and discuss your plans and get some input. Talk about what everyone wants out of the vacation. Make it a fun night get decorations to to make it festive and fun. It’s a fun way to get together because who doesn’t like to talk about Disney!
