To all my friends who say they are not crafty or don’t have time this one is for you!
It’s been a crafty week
Last week it was the DIY Farmhouse Block calendar this week my DIY Farmhouse wall sign. It’s been a craft week and I have been so inspired by all the ideas I have seen in several crafting Facebook groups. I love how everyone take the same idea and turns it into their own. These are my first few signs and I know they will look even better as I make more! I have seen so many crafters make cute designs and its amazing how different they all look. Even more amazing it only cost a few dollars to make so they make great gifts.
This will be quick!
This will be a quick craft. So if you have a last minute gift to throw together this is the one! It was super easy , quick and only need a few supplies and looks fabulous. I loved how it came out. I have a few other ideas in mind using my Cricut machine.

Lets get started
To get started let me remind you that this is a super easy project that anyone can do! You don’t need any fancy machine although there some endless possibilities if you do have one. I have a few ideas I want to try down the road. Remember all you need is a few things from the dollar store. I got most of my items, the pizza pan, place mat , and ribbon at the Dollar Tree. Flowers and rope are from Joann Fabrics. Dollar Tree sells a different darker version of rope that can be used. I like the light color rope, it gives a light springy feel to it. You will see some chalk paint in the above picture but I ended up not using it, I might paint my next and see how it turns out.
This is so easy!
First cut the placement to fit inside the pizza pan. I eyeballed it but you can draw it and cut it out. Glue the place mat to the pan with the E6000 glue. I just put a few drops around and smoothed it out to help prevent air bubbles. Be sure to let it dry before adding the next step or it will bubble up. You can try a glue stick or Elmers glue but not sure how that would adhere to the metal. Do not use a glue gun as it would be bumpy as well . E6000 will adhere to metal but does take time to dry. If you are using a Cricut Machine just use your own design and permanent vinyl in the colors of your choice.
Take the rope and decide where you will put the ribbon and greenery(top, bottom or side). This is import so you can hide where the rope comes together. I chose the bottom, I just liked the look and the hanging ribbon will not be in the way of the quote. Once you have decided take the hot glue gun and start to glue around making sure you get some not just on the place mat but metal pan as well. This will secure the place mat and rope stay in place. Save some rope for the back as well to hang. Use some E6000 on the back then a some hot glue to keep it in place as the E6000 dries.
Make your bow and attach with the hot glue. Arrange your floral and that is it!
I told you it was quick!
