Top 6 Easy Summer Instant Pot Foods and Recipes!

It’s finally summer again and I added 2 more recipes this year to this post so 8 recipes that will keep you fed all summer !

Originally I  was going to do my top 5 but couldn’t narrow it down so
now you have the Top 6!  With summer comes lots of outside fun, activities and gatherings and yourInstant Pot is there to help all summer long. If In fact everyone asks me why I have 2 Instant Pots, well because there is so much that can be cooked for just one meal all in the Instant Pot I need two. It just makes life easier!  For instance, we just had crab legs and corn on the cob out on the deck the other night, I was able to cook both at the same time. It’s convenient when cooking for a larger crowd at a gathering too! I own the tiny 3qt Instant Pot and the 8qt instant Pot.

Without further adieu here are your top 6 Instant Pot Summer food picks and free printable recipes! These are recipes that will never make you want to  you go back to cooking  them old way again!

1.CORN ON THE COB

One of the easiest recipes for the instant pot ever! Grab your fresh corn from our local farmers market and try this. It is amazing! You will be wanting to make it at every meal you can. Just place all ingredients in the pot with the rack on bottom. Set your Instant pot for 2 minutes and Quick release when done! That is it.

2. CRAB LEGS

OMG! This was the most exciting thing that happened to my Instant Pot. We love seafood in this house. Crab legs are one of the easiest to cook!

3. SOUTHERN SWEET TEA
I am not from the south and never made sweet tea before but I will never be making it any other way. It’s so easy and saves money at the grocery store.

4. POTATO SALAD
I love that the instant pot can be used to make some amazing potato salad. You can use your special recipe or my SEASIDE POTATO SALAD RECIPE. Basically I use the Instant Pot to cook my potatoes and eggs at the same time
and it’s so quick, it just saves time in the kitchen.

5. BBQ RIBS
These are a year around game changer! What can take several hours to make fall off the bone happens in 25 minutes in the Instant Pot. I have even made them ahead and froze them and pop them on the grill (thawed) and it cooks up in no time.

6. STEAMED SHRIMP
I couldn’t leave shrimp out so I had to add this one! It’s the same as crab legs but try cooking it in beer and your favorite seafood seasoning. Keep the shells on as to not overcook the shrimp.
Serve  them in a Tara at Home Baker set fill the baker with ice and serve your shrimp on top on the Unlimit Lid and your shrimp will keep chilled for your party for hours.

Update: I had to add 2 more because these are summer must haves! These clams  are amazing and you can make a ton of them. I hate going to a restaurant and you only get a dozen for around $10. I always want more, am I right?

Try these Drunken clams and serve with some Instant pot Artisan bread for dipping in the yummy garlic sauce!
