Bone broth consists of boiling beef or chicken bones for a long time that breaks down the connective tissues of animal bones which are full of nutrients. How easy is making bone broth?

Making Bone broth couldn’t be any easier with your Instant Pot! All you need is some left over chicken bones. A bunch veggies and herbs, apple cider vinegar and water. Apple Cider vinegar? This helps break down the cartilage in the bones to reap in all those nutrients you will benefit from.

I usually use my left over Costco rotisserie chicken carcass. So don’t ever throw out your chicken bones again! If you are not ready to make it then throw it in the freezer until later! There is something about the flavors of the rotisserie chicken bones that I think makes the bone broth extra flavorful. One chicken carcass is plenty. You can use turkey or beef bones as well.

Add in your ingredients and cook for 120 minutes on manual. Fill water to the max line of your Instant pot.

Let it natural release. Once done you need to grab a strainer or cheese cloth and large bowl. Strain the broth into the bowl leaving behind the bones and veggies. You know when your broth is good because there will be a layer off of fat on top that is like a gelatin when cool. Store in an air tight Tupperware container. Now you can reap in all the benefits and be a healthier you! make up some soup and your family wont even notice they are eating healthy.
