Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue Corn Bread Recipe
I love to serve the Hoop Dee-Doo Review Corn Bread along with my Walt Disney’s Chili and Bean Recipe. The Hoop Dee-Doo is a slapstick, song singing fun dinner show filled with lots of laughter. The best part is you get to eat too! They serve all you can eat fried chicken,ribs, sides ,corn bread and strawberry shortcake! Its also the same cornbread available at Trails End in Fort Wilderness. The cornbread is always popular. The Hoop Dee-Doo Revue is a must do so be sure to put it on your Walt Disney World Bucket list.
Ingredients
- Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup cornmeal
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 Tablespoon baking powder
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Mix flour, cornmeal, salt, baking powder, and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl, blend milk, eggs, and oil until well mixed.
- Using a mixer, slowly add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing just enough to incorporate.
- Spray a 9×13 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray and pour the batter into the pan, spreading evenly.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
