I have always wondered if my son would ever get attached to anything then it happened! A few months ago my mother gave my son 2 McDonald puppet toys she has from probably the late 1990’s. That is where the love of Buzz and Woody began. He carried them everywhere, sleep with them, eats with them, and takes them on our car rides. Usually the first thing he says when he wakes is Buzz and Woody in a cute 2 year old voice. No good morning or hello mom. Just Buzz! We own the original Toy Story movie and we its my saving grace when I need to get something done like work on Disney quotes and bookings, retuning phone calls, entering Thirty-One Party order or editing photos.
Fast forward to Easter. We decided to buy him a real talking Buzz Lightyear doll. I just knew he would flip once he saw him talk. My mom got him the talking Woody as well and Toy Story 2 movie. Now we carry not only the 2 puppets but the new Buzz and Woody Dolls too. My hands are full! Since Easter which was about one week ago I think we have watched the movies at least 2 or 3 times a day. I know I shouldn’t let him watch tv that long but its new and I hope he will phase out of it. We actually got through today without playing it until my husband got home and put it on for him. His eyes just light up when it starts. I am pretty sure I will have the script down pat in a few weeks.
So since we are on a Toy Story kick right now that is what his Birthyday party will be in May!
Are you children attached to anything?
