Why use a travel agent to book your Disney Vacation?
Its a question many people ask or don’t even think about. You might change your mind after reading this. This is not only true for Disney Vacations but any vacation.
1. You can focus on the fun stuff. You don’t have to spend hours dealing with the logistics of where to stay or transportation. They do the leg work for you. You can spend your time making matching T-shirts for your family, choosing what rides you want to ride..etc. Just make sure to be upfront with your agent so they have a good understanding of your specific needs. If you just want no part in planning and you want them to do it all that’s ok too! However there are certain things like you may need to take part in that an agent can’t like packing for your trip!
2. Knowledge is Power. Make sure to book your vacation with an agent who has been through Disney Agent training- Disney College of Knowledge. They have the inside scoop on some things and probably know stuff you may not already know.
3. Have someone on your side. Having just a quick call or email to your agent for questions or change of plans is nice to have. Its comforting being able to speak to the same person about your plans every time.
4. Savings. An good agent should not cost extra- They get paid though commission already included in the price you are paying. Yes, the same price you would be paying if you didn’t go through an agent but you don’t get the benefit of having an agent. So it is kind of a no brainer! Most people don’t realize this when they book their own vacations. Sometimes agents have access to special pricing, tours and vacation not available to the general public. Such as special group amenities on a cruise or rate, special tours in popular destinations..etc. If you already have a vacation booked directly you can always request to transfer it over to your agent so you can still reap the benefits of an agent- just ask your agent for the form.
